A quick note of warning to anyone who may be considering driving through Avignon in the next - goodness knows how many -months.
They are constructing a tramway and the raoccade is vitually impassable.

Yes it has caused some problems especially at the beginning when roads would suddenly be closed and diversions put in place, but now everyone has got used to it and there are ways to bypass the worst of it.
