Default Any Engineers??

Bonjour
I's french & OH's british... We've in NZ for 5months now & it's not working out as we'd hope... Not homesick, but he can't find a job in his trade so all of a sudden we hardly have any $$ to enjoy our life down under...
SO we're considering our options...
One of them being coming back to my home country... Now my dear OH doesn't not speak French... Pas du tout!! Which is pretty bad, but hey!
I have asked this b4, but can't find the thread, Do you know of any international engineering companies he could make contact with? Hopefully, they won't mind him not speaking Francais for now. I know Schlumberger's policy is English at all times even in Paris...

Any engineers out there with tips & advices??

Hi, my French step-son-in-law (if you follow me) works as an engineer at Schlum. Unfortunately, they, like all companies in France, are hit by the recession at the moment , but I can always ask him for you...

Oh thanks

It wouldn't be for another 6/8 months as I have a year engagement here in NZ anyway... And since I would be asking for a transfer back in France (expenses paid) I have to be a good boy n see the year out before I do/say anything...

Let me know!

Merci
