Default Alpacas

Last one for tonight

Has anyone kept Alpacas? Is there a market for the fleeces?

A Google search for "élevage d'alpacas" gives several results.

Seems to me there is a limit to how many Alpaca fleeces one household can use, so I presume you'd be looking to sell them, which sounds awfully like a business, and worse than that sounds awfully like an agricultural business. MSA is an organisation where many brave men fear to tread, so don't rush in.

Presuming that if I did sell Alpacas fleeces, and then became affiliated to MSA, I would become one of the dreaded French Farmers that would have to go on strike and blockade roads with my Tractor (ride on lawnmower) and set fire to a few hay bales.

Think I might give that a miss thanks.

Yes, I think this is obligatory.
