Re: Adios Amigos
Well, I'm a bit behind on this one but I have to add my two pennyworth on this and say Val and JDR please don't go. I know it's not easy on the site at present with fewer new people posting because they're not planning on coming to France and the rest of us rather sheepishly trying to keep our heads above water. (Turnip stew anyone?)
Thank you Sue for responding to this thread. I understand that someone has to make administrative decisions and that this is an international site but, regardless of your personal integrity, I do question someone in California deciding what is right for us if it means two of our most supportive and professional moderators decide to leave. And, of course, Sue, I have no way of knowing whether it was your responsibility or accountabilty or not and I'm not seeking to find someone to blame. I'd just like someone to do whatever it is that is necessary for us to be a happy family again.

Mitzyboy is only a little sideways in Spain, and he is good at what he does. Happy Family we still are. Val is taking a Break I am still in contact with her, She's gone to Ireland until at least the end of the month with her Oh for some quality time.

The someone in Question is Internet Brands, They are now the Owners of the domain and have been for some time it is and trust me on this one not News, It has been the nature of the Internet for many years that some one in India for example will manage people in the UK, Just like when you phone you bank and for some reason you are speaking to someone in Deli. But here we have our language as common ground. The owners changed way back but admin remained the same as it always has.

Thank you for caring enough to respond Ka Ora. I don't know the ins and outs and don't need to. Obviously things change and we all have to move on. I guess when it happens suddenly after a period of continuity it takes us time to get used to it. Also I don't like to see anyone hurt - I'm a big softy that way.
Im still trying to talk her in to running away with me
