Who's going where this year?
Holidays? Weekends away? Anyone venturing anywhere unusual, interesting, new?
Could be a good thread to pass on ideas that others of us may never have thought of.......

Hoping we'll get a weekend on Kangaroo Island later this year when ROMFTs mum is here. That's about it

Re: Who's going where this year?
To see some more of the best I have seen since being in OZ ( stuff thats in oz or close to it category ) .
South Island New Zealand. Going back in winter. You hear the scenery is good, but its beyond that, it really is breathtaking!
The AUD is just about holding its head above water against the NZ so not the currency problems you get in europe or USA now.
Cant wait to go back.
Plus now the kids have finally finished school I get my first extended trip back to UK. 4 months? Nov - march probably, Missing most of the Aussie summer
New York in 2 weeks plus if partner makes it over driving down to Nashville, Savannah, Charlestown, and Tallahassee etc, bits of the USA we have not seen yet. Last year we did 2 weeks in Utah just cause it was an easy drive from LAX in limited time, highly recommended, some amazing drives and National parks with scenery you cant even believe is real. Seen a lot of the USA but utah is a bit of a secret I think.

Might have to go home to Scotland to visit my sis, she's not well. Just waiting to see what happens. I've not been back to the uk since we've been here, which is over 6 yrs now, so I could take the time to see a few places whilst there I suppose.
Defo want to holiday in December this year again. Went to Yamba xmas 2013 and loved it. So I'll be on the lookout for somewhere nice to book for xmas.

Bit of skiing in Austria and Italy in a couple of weeks. Bound to send me broke but I need my annual fix.

Haven't a clue yet, it all depends whether we stay here or move back the UK.
Have you anything exciting planned for this year Polly?

Back to the UK as usual for a couple of weeks and hoping to pop to Spain for a couple of days, plus Tassie for a fix of peace and quiet, and hopefully a trip to Melbourne for the Aus v England World Cup cricket Nowhere new planned yet though I'd love to see more of New Zealand, down to Queenstown and the snowfields maybe - doubt I''ll manage that this year though.

My sister and I are thinking of Croatia in September. I'm going to have to start saving, though.

Get well soon; but don't think about it too deeply.
