Default Vietnam during Tet 2003

Hi all,

We are planning a month-long trip to Vietnam in February.
I understand that the Tet celebrations this year are sometime between January 28 and February 5th. Would we have problems arriving in Saigon in the middle of Tet? Will most shops/hotels/restaurants be open during this time or will we be stranded?

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks, Erin and Joe

The first day of the new years everything is closed. Other than that you
should be ok. Airports will definitely be packed with VietKieu's visiting
for the holidays.

Have fun. Maybe I'll run into you there.
