Janb - have you managed to track down your brother? I do hope so.

Here's another link.....but beware; there are many photos of dead people in the hospital mortuaries. They are *very* graphic - please have a supporter with you if you feel you need to try and find your brother in this way.

Thanks for the link - no we haven't found Keith yet. Fingers still crossed. I have had some very positive feedback from expats in the area who are helping to try and locate him but haven't heard anything yet.

Thanks for all the support from this forum.

Try putting a message on the bbc website www.news.bbc.co.uk, there are already lots of messages from worried families on their. I have seen 2 names on there from my home town, one a best mate from school.

Pray they are found safe and well.

Janine, as soon as you have any news, please tell us because we are all thinking of you.

To those reading this thread that are out there in affected areas, or have lost loved ones, the whole world is crying with you.

I feel so helpless and the images I am seeing on television are making me cry every day.

I am putting money into the fund, but if you guys out there can think of anything else that we could do, let us know.

If anyone saw the news tonight about those fishermen that had been in their boat for 7 days with no food or water, their boat was on the verge of collapse and they were dehydrated, and some ship found them.

A tiny baby was found floating on its mattress alive,

A small boy was heard crying at the bottom of a swimming pool and is now back with his dad.

We musnt give up on miracles, because every time someone is found alive from this disaster, it proves that they do happen.

Thank god for that Janine.

When we did our 3 min silence at work, I thought about him.

But yes, to the other families, our thoughts are with you.

Good news hope you all get together soon to celebrate. I read yesterday some guys survived because they were surfing and thought it was safer out at sea than in. As said hope there are some more good news for those who are still waiting for news, a big <<<hug>>> for them.

So pleased that you have news that your brother is safe and well.

A Thai lady whom is in the same acquacise class I attend has also now received good news; her cousin lives in Krabi but has a bar/restaurant on Phi Phi Island which has been washed away - he couldn't be contacted for a few days but he's fine.

Some sad news announced by Tony Blair today:
