Hi,

I'm new to this forum and can't find a thread for Vietnam or Hanoi. Please may someone point me towards some previous discussion regarding expatriating to Vietnam with children ?

Hello Ginny and warm from Malaysia.

We don't currently have a Vietnam forum on here. You have however posted in the right place. If you don't get any response from your thread, may I suggest you do a search to find some other existing threads? Just go to main Far East and Asia section. You'll see a Search box up on the top right hand side. If you put in something like Vietnam or Hanoi, it should come up with a few threads.

Many thanks for the reply, I had already tried your suggestion, but there seems to be little movement on the Vietnam front. Hoping someone who is living or has been to Hanoi will pick up the thread. Love the little smilies

Hi Ginnylou, I haven't lived in Vietnam but I have at least visited Hanoi and I LOVED it!

If you struggle I can probably put you in touch with somebody who spends a lot of time there on business, and maybe somebody who has lived in HCMC although she was there as a single person without children.
