Cool Moving Business to Malaysia?

Does anyone know how easy it is to relocate a business to Malaysia? I do a lot of commission work and basically, I can now relocate to just about anywhere (that will have me!)

Are there any problems setting up a new business, problems with visas/residency etc? Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Probably your best source of info may be to contact the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce in KL. The British High Commission may also be able to give advice too (it's a Commonwealth country so isn't called an Embassy!). The links are here:

There is a large British expat community in Malaysia, the High Comm should also be able to inform you how to contact the British Association etc if you can't find any info on the internet. Another excellent organisation is MANZA - The Malaysian Australian & New Zealand Association - open to all expats and locals and great for socialising and local info.

Thanks Englishmum. I am looking for a "Plan B" if Oz fails and I have been to KL on business about 10 times over the years. I will further search the forum. Appreciate your kindness in answering.
