Gap year work?
My younger daughter - 18, Roedean and Ampleforth, 9 GCSEs and 3 A Levels, sensible, responsible. lively - is taking a gap year before university. She's looking for paid work for several months in Asia. Is this realistic/legal? Thnaks. Ruprecht, London.

She could try Japan or even South Korea, but at her age Japan would be safer!
Try looking a www.gaijinpot.com
I think you will find some interesting information about teaching jobs in Japan, however, rom what I understand she may need a University degree in order to qualify for the Visa?
Good luck!
