Switzerland
Just curious, but why isn't there a Switzerland section under Europe?
There are thousands of expats in the Schweiz... doesn't anyone on BE work/live there or plan to?

Re: Switzerland
Not enough posts I'm afraid to warrant it.
We were asked over and over again to start a Hungary forum (which we did) but now no one posts on it!

Genau.
But to be serious though English Forum is so much more than is covered here on BE. If you just have look around all the different parts. There are sooo many aspects to living in Switzerland that the standard 3 categories that BE gives just isn't enough. English forum has far more categories because life in CH is just far more complicated.
I like BE and for me in Canada it is just fine but it does make me cross when BE won't accept that it can't be all forums to all people. It would be great if there was a link to English forum to help.

So .... if you owned a shop in the high street, would you allow the shop down the road in the same line of business to come in and put a placard up in your shop advertising their shop?

I think you are missing something though . At the end of the day, BE is a business, just like the majority of forums in webland. (BTW its not my business, and I dont get paid!)

Re: Switzerland
I'm in Geneva & about 50% of people here are expats- over 10,000 English speakers in this area.
True, there are other ex-pat sites here (OK, I won't name them) but BE can link ex-pats in other countries to those in Switzerland.
A lot of people here didn't come directly from the UK so it would be useful.
