sUMMER TRAVEL IN EUROPE
In May I am leaving the UK to travel through France–Spain-Portugal-South of France and Monaco to Italy by quality motor home. Planning to return to the UK August/September. Have now lost my planned travelling companion if anyone over 40 fancies coming along for all or part of the trip please email me. Budget around $40 a day. Similar in Euros. Spanish or Italian speaker an advantage. If you are into classic cars I want to make the Millia Miliga in Italy for mid May. Email [email protected]

Hello Mike,
My wife and I did the same thing from June to September 2002 and had the time of our lives. Would love to do the trip again. If you love classic cars you might want to catch the Mt Ventoux race which starts at the top of Mt Ventoux in Provence. Whilst searching for lavender fields we stumbled upon a whole bunch of maniacs racing wonderful old vehicles of all types at break-neck speeds down the mountain. Pretty hairy when you are trying to get an unwieldy diesel plodder up the mountain at the same time.
Hmmmm...I must say the idea is appealing. Except there'd be two of us.
