In May I am leaving the UK to travel through France–Spain-Portugal-South of France and Monaco to Italy by quality motor home. Planning to return to the UK August/September. My wife and I did the same thing from June to September 2002 and had the time of our lives. Would love to do the trip again. If you love classic cars you might want to catch the Mt Ventoux race which starts at the top of Mt Ventoux in Provence. Whilst searching for lavender fields we stumbled upon a whole bunch of maniacs racing wonderful old vehicles of all types at break-neck speeds down the mountain. Pretty hairy when you are trying to get an unwieldy diesel plodder up the mountain at the same time.

Hmmmm...I must say the idea is appealing. Except there'd be two of us.
