Default Paris - CDG at night ?

We have a flight out of Paris CDG at 6:45 AM. We will probably be taking RER to reach to the airport. I was looking at the RER schedule and it seems like they don't run all night, I believe the last train reaches CDG at around 1:00 AM and the first train reaches between 5 and 6.

If we take the train at night and reach CDG at 1:00 AM, is it safe to spend the night at CDG ?

Thanks in advance !

why not, there are lots of french national guards with automatic assault
weapons there. But there are gonna be some petty criminals there that
you have to be on guard all time. Have a good night sleep and take a
taxi. or find a cheap hotel near by.

I slept once at CDG and there was no problems. It's a big airport so there
you can find a place for you. Or if you feel unsafe you can still leave a
luggage for the night.

CDG has little overnight rooms that you can rent if you wish to arrive there
the prior evening.

Of course CDG is safe but why would you want to spend the night in the
terminal when you could stay at one of the airport hotels that offer free
shuttle service to CDG? The hotels are only a few minutes away.

Assuming he finds it convenient to arrive at CDG at 1:00am, and probably
needs to check in for his flight by 5:00 he's got four hours to kill. With
hotel check in, check out and the shuttle he's not losing much sleep.

His arrival at CDG at 1:00 am is based on the fact that it's the last train
of the night thus making the wait at the airport as short as possible if he
were to spend the night in the terminal. That's his only reason for
arriving at 1:00 am. I am suggesting that he take an earlier train, stay at
an airport hotel with free shuttle service and get a good night's rest
before his flight. Staying up all night and then taking a long overseas
flight is not going to be a hell of a lot of fun. I did not think it
necessary to spell it all out in such detail in my first post. Or maybe I am
missing something here?

Regards,
Ryan
