Re: Arles Hotels
We stayed at Hotel Acacias last month. It was new and had air conditioning, which was
a must since it was 40C. It also has cable TV and great bathrooms. Very pleasant.
Prices Db 46-65 Euros. It's just inside the old city walls, and has free parking.
Tel. 04 90 96 37 88 fax 04 90 96 32 51 www.hotel-acacias.com
Note that the large plane trees have been removed because of disease at Place du
Forum and replaced with new trees. It's quite a change.

Re: Arles Hotels
I recently did an extensive search on Arles (and the rest of Provence) for hotels,
here's some I found (within the city center). I chose these ones because I could
email them to check for room availability and book/confirm the room from the comforts
of my own computer.
A good starting point is:
http://www.fhr.fr
A few hotels with websites:
http://www.hotel-acacias.com/
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/hotel.consta...eil/index2.htm
http://www.paris-france-hotels-reser.../amphitheatre/
http://www.hoteldumusee.com.fr/ http://members.aol.com/hotelcloitre/
http://www.portecamargue.com/porte-d.../acces-pdc.htm
There's another called Hotel Calendal, I don't have their website off hand, I'm sure
you can search for it on Google.com to find it.
We're gonna stay at Acacias, which seems well priced and located, based on the
website info anyways. Plus they have free parking, which is great since we're
arriving via rental.
Also check out Jack's Travels for hotel recommendations, along with an abundance of
other useful tidbits for Provence.

You can also use tripadvisor.com to search for other reviews of the hotel/B&B that
you want to book with (reviews from fodors, frommers, etc)
Have fun in Arles!

Re: Arles Hotels
I didn't stay in Arles, but try www.logis-de-france.fr for several possibilities, one
actually in the old city. B&B's are at www.gites-de-france.fr. Finally,
www.viamichelin.com and www.mappy.com will make suggestions, but going to
www.pagesjaunes.fr [this is the 3rd posting about them I've made tonight!] will get
you ALL the hotels. Enter "hôtels, hôtels-restaurants" in Activité and "Arles" in
Localité. Or even try www.yahoo.fr.
