Hi ther
My wife and I are moving to brisbane in 12th january.
Ive been granted the 175 skilled visa and have got my artc mechanic grade, just waiting on the wiring regs arriving in the next couple of days.. then the revision starts!!!!
Havin just found out my wife is expecting our first child in April i'm getting concerned about the work situation out in oz for electricians? Having read some of the posts.....Is it as hard to get work as it sounds?? Can anyone give any advice or tips on getting work?
Any info would be much appreciated
Daz

Hi
You just need to put as much evidence as you can m8. Get detailed reference's from previous employers, write a statuarory declaration outlineing your experience, were you served your time, were you've worked, fault finding and rectification, different types of jobs your been on.
I used old posts from this forum there is everything you need to get your visa. the info is priceless!!
There just seems to be no end of stuff to do. Having got the visa granted I thought i'd nearly cracked it..... o no!! then you've to send all the evidence again to the artc so keep copies of everything you send to vetasses. then you've to do the wiring regs and try and learn all the formula's that have stayed with ya the last 10 years!! NOT!!
good luck
