Default Is vetassess the only way or can you still use TRA?

Just starting out on the long road to Oz. I'm time served maintenance electrician in the UK and i'm going to apply for a general electrician visa 4311-11.
Vetassess have:

Qualification assessment for migration $385

New trade skills assessment for migration $600 then $1600

Can any one tell me which i need.
Also is there anyway i can still go down the TRA route.

Any help would be welcome.

Thanks

Col

Hi Buddy,
As far as I am aware if you are going for General Electrician 4311-11 and are a U.K. resident vetassess is the only way. It's the way I and most recent applications have HAD to go. It's not cheap is it.Davy

i applied in 2007 but tra still do assessment for electrician special class. vetassess have taken over for general electrician.

i felt the description for special class was more suited to my job.
