UK Electricians working in Europe
Dear Members,
My UK company is looking to do some electrical works in western Europe. The work involves installation of electrical sub-meters for a UK client who have retail stores in Europe. Our engineers are 17th edition qualified UK electricians. Are they allowed to do electrical works in western Europe. Do we have to follow any local electrical regulations and/or UK electricians have to undertake a course in each country? Any help from would be greatly appreciated. |

DIN (Deutsche Industrienorm) is more common than British Standard. It probably varies from country to country. Do NOT assume that you can just do it the British Way !
