Default sub contracting

Hi all,Ive been working here in Melbourne on 'wages' for the last few years.Full time with a van,mobile,super and annual leave included as per norm.Earning $33 an hour.Now looking at going subbie,what is the equivalent rate as a subbie.Just going to be working through my ABN number and only supplying hand tools etc.

I know guys who charge $90 an hour. I also know people who charge $65.

Lads Am moving over to melbourne after xmas. Is it possible to work away as spark/spark mate without doing the aussie exams. Am a qualified electrician from n.ireland to the jib scheme.

Victoria is probably the hardest place to find work as a spark without a licence. NSW you should be fine. The rest of the states. Not so easy.

What's the best way to go about getting a licence? Should I start applying now are would it be better to do it all over there. You know any companies in Melbourne that would maby sponsor me?
