Default PL insurance

Hi guys,

Anyone know if there is a minimum amount of Public Liability insurance to become an electrical contractor. I cant see anything about it on the OCBA website.

Can anyone recomend a provider?

Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jon I use these http://www.imar.com.au/

You don't need PL insurance to get your contractors licence in SA

I got my contractors licence first and set up a couple of months later.

I took out 10m as One of the companys i have a contract with ask for it.

It was the best deal i could find and you can pay monthly for no extra.

A few of my mates use them as well.

Mention me when they ring you back you might get a discount
