The never ending licencing saga.
Hi all,Great news Wendy,but your both glad the licence thing is over with.
We are still going on with John's.Got a phone call from brother in OZ saying theres a card saying theres a letter to pick up.So needs John to fax a letter saying bro can act as a agent to pick up said letter from post office.Would have been so much simpler if the TRA had just sent it here in the first place.Then when the letter get picked up ,will be sent on to here ,hopefully not getting lost in the post.Then we can send off the forms to WA elec board to get approval to do exams.Then book exams,passs them and get licence in hot little hand, a hell of a lot quicker than in QLD.
Does anyone know how long after you do the exams till you know you have passed them? And how long till you recieve the licence?
Everything seems to be taking so long,but I know it will be worth it in the end ,its just nothing has gone the easy way.
But nothing a few drinks won't fix,

Very relieved, it means I can get him out working. Both to start saving some cash and to stop me from killing him
He did his exam last Wedneday and they told him to ring Thursday for the results. He rang Thursday and was told he had to re-sit a couple of questions, which he did this morning. They told him straight away that all was OK.
He has to go back first thing in the morning to get evidence of his results and we are going straight down to pick his licence up after that. We had already sent in for the restricted licence, but as they hadn't actually issued it yet, we get to just go straight to A class. So that's $86 saved
