Default Licensing in Sydney

Hey, i'm currently working in Sydney as Unlicensed Electrician on a Working Holiday Visa and i'm looking into getting my A license. Is my route, apply for my ARTC, fly to Adelaide and do a 2 week wiring course at Peer, then transfer my license to a NSW one? Has anyone gone through this route?

Thanks

I'm not saying it'll be easy, but is that a viable route?

I actually done similar. However it wasn't just a 2 weeks cousre. It was ,months of doing the regs and then flying down for 3 days for the test. It has now changed.

I think PEER still offer a 7 or 8 day course in wiring regs, with practical and quite a few exams
