at last my new blue licence !
yep got home this afternoon and the postie ( lovely man )
has brought me a brand new
dark blue
qld electrical mechanical licence
valid till 2012
about bloody time
so its onwards and upwards and apply for the contractors bit now
has brought me a brand new

Great news Steve'o, will it make much differance to your wage? just curious ,john just got his first pay and is not too impressed with the amount.$29 p/h and thats with his licence.
But on the up side he' says it steady away work,no one breathing down your neck,and very laid back.

I guess we thought that the money would be a bit higher with the so called lack of sparks over here,but when you search on seek and so on,heaps of them are payed around the 55k mark,John is in a factory ,works on plc's and stuff,could have gone up to the mines but whats the good when you are paying $6oo a week in rent,the good money is soon used up on that so are in the middle of nowhere for not much more money than down here,yes we could have gone to WA but we didn't like it there at all.
