E-profiling
Hello there...
How are you guys doing the e-profiling getting on? I've done 3 and a half months at 43 hours a week so far. I thought that was a lot, but when my boss verified my cards, I had a look at the graph and it looks like I still have a long way to go.
How long does it roughly take averaging 40+ hours per week do you reckon?
Cheers!

Re: E-profiling
Hi Old Sparkles,
I'm not sure if the e-profiling requirements/time-span is the same in Adelaide as it is here in WA, but I was talking to someone from the college today and they said it should take from 6 to 8 months at 40+ hours a week to complete. Which sounds about right looking at my graph.
I have been getting a good variety of work to be fair, so have been filling up the different sections pretty evenly. It looks like I maybe be just under half way judging by the graph!

It's been a real pain though as employers don't understand the requirements - and having jumped through all the hoops to get PR, to then say you're not really skilled until you show some evidence of your work is frustrating to say the least.

Well Done Old Sparkles. How long roughly did it take to do? Also how did you find getting a job without a licence?

Re: E-profiling
I've been in my current job for 3 months. Had work previously but all control based. Haven't found it too difficult getting work, but the recruitment process can be a bit drawn out for some jobs. Actually did all the theory work and tests last year, so was just waiting for enough variety of work in the log book.

Congrats O.S. Bet you're glad that's done. I'm just trying to finish off the log book then I can book in for the capstone.
Did the college issue you with your cert III? I've heard depending on who you did your OSTR with, sometimes the college can't issue the cert III, and you have to go back to the RTO you went through in order to get the cert III.
