just being reading a thread thats says I need to get my references and certicates certified..as in signed by the police. does anyone know if this is true. I'm in Perth at the minute and have only got copies of my stuff that i got sent over from home.

yes mate you do need to have these certified. All copies must be signed.

i'm applying for the electrical mechanics licence. i'm in Perth at the minute trying to sort out my artc application. its such a load of bullsh*t!..trying to prove i'm as good as an aussie spark!

then you`ll need the copies cetified by the local JP they can usually be found in a local shopping mall ( well they can in qld ) and its a free service
