Does anybody knows about capstone assesment,coz i went to ESV for REC and they said coz i got my vic licence through mutual recognition i can not get my electrical contractor licence without capstone assesment.

I have had to do a installation and testing course to get mine, i transferred from SA, this includes most of the capstone test., it covers a vast majority of the wiring regs, then all the practical aspects of being a sparkie.

It's every states way of not allowing the SA electrical board of short cutting the licence gap.
