I’m just wondering if you really have to apply for recognition of your qualification and before you get it, you aren’t allowed to do your profession. As we know, 17th edition in the UK isn’t compulsory; you can do pretty well even without it.

NSW is the esaiest place to get work without a licence. But you will be working along side sparkies with licences. So in theory they will be supervising your work. Other states not so easy.

It can be done I am in Perth and got a job the day after sending off plenty of applications. Bearing in mind the job I recieved was the only company that got back to me. I guess I was just lucky. I applied for my ARTC though and will be doing the course as soon as I can after recieving the result.

You will only get work as a trade assistant without a licence.
