Default ARTC form, help me please!!!

I'm looking for some help filling out the ARTC form. I didn't have to do TRA because my wife is main applicant as a nurse, so it's all new to me! Hopefully my questions make sense. I did my training in Scotland from 1995-1999

Section 1.
C) Do you hold a trade certificate issued by a state or Territory training authority?
No or Yes?
What is the trade/classification?
Does this relate to Australian certs or UK certs?

Section 4. Trade Classification Sought.
Do i put Electrical Mechanic or just Electrician?

Section 5. Apprenticeship
Number of hours worked per week :1st year 2nd year 3rd year 4th year.
Do i put 39.5 hours for each year or do i put my college hours that were block release?

Section 6. Vocational Education & Training
Name of training institute: SJIB or SECTT?
Specify government or other controlling authority: SJIB?
Number of hours worked: again, is it working hours of college blocks or work?

I hope that all made sense, i'm struggling to understand fully what they want you to write.

Default Re: ARTC form, help me please!!!

hello,
I think if you read the form again, you will answer most of your questions, ie the list of professions states 3 electrical trades, fitter is for maintenance sparks and mechanic is house bashing and installation work, the later is the one to go for, it allows more range on the job front, if you read the threads on here it will answer most of the questions for you, especially one's from steve o and wendy. if you have any more questions or you have read the form serveral times and not got it, i have just done mine, my situation was the same as yours, right down to having the over half being a nurse, give me a shout and i'll give you a hand,

Regards

kevin
