This is not looking good as Obama is not going to lose face or chance being impeached ....financially he has no worries as Saudi is backing the cost with $20bn. Putin is the only one who looks level headed in all this and pushing for more time maybe to deliver extra supplies to Syria.....who knows.
Kerry is running around like the idiot he is trying to gain more support.....again only to make it look good......looks like the deal is done......just waiting the green light.

After the get go happens Israel will be right in there as they are waiting.......that's why Iran has stated it will attack Israel if US attack Syria...the only way Cyprus could get caught up is due to their geographical location and stray missiles. Then I'm sure the British Bases will not just sit back that could be when Cameron may do a U turn.

EU/NATO exercise going on...is this exercise a contest of flexing muscles as there does not appear to be much action taking place...as yet..Is that why the Russians are sending in more ships and some are stopping to pick up special cargo????...it has also been stated that they will evacuate any citizens from the region..........Why people cannot live in peace...I wish

I'll help Syria if the U.S. attacks, says Putin in chilling threat to Obama as G20 summit breaks up in acrimony
Russian premier has admitted to supplying arms to Syrian tyrant
Putin insists the chemical attack was a 'set-up' by government opposition
Backs his stance by pointing out that the Pope is against military intervention

Russia last night issued a chilling threat to assist Syria if the US leads military strikes against its hated regime.
As a summit of world leaders broke up in acrimony, Vladimir Putin declared openly that he is already supplying arms to Syrian tyrant Bashar Assad and vowed to step up support if a planned missile attack goes ahead.
There were gasps as the Russian President made his remarks after being asked how he would react if Barack Obama proceeds with an attack in response to Syria’s used of chemical weapons.

SO - did you start this thread to warn people about the potential for being mugged and the ways that it may be possible to hit back

or did you actually start it under a sheep's coat to discuss Syria
there are surely enough posts about this matter elsewhere and lets be honest, the feelings, ideas, proposals and responses to what anyone else outside BES will not hold water.

quite honestly this is out of the remit of the original post and will remain so

sorry, thought it was the one about mugging - see you got me all confused

but still think it is wrong for the GDY's to go round threatening to mug people they have spent the last few years supporting and expecting us to support their past actions.

I don't like Obama as much as I used to when he first became president so I think I will bomb the White House.
sits back to wait for the NSA spooks to pick up on this and come round to pay me a visit.

The Russian foreign minister says Moscow will push Syria to place its chemical weapons under international control.

Russia Syria

Russia has urged Syria to put its chemical weapons under international control, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters Monday.

"We have passed our offer to (Syrian Foreign Minister Walid) Al-Muallem and hope to receive [a] fast and positive answer," Sergey Lavrov said, according to RT.com, the Russian news agency, and the Associated Press.
