Government plans to privatise and sell off stakes in several state authorities seem to be intensifying.
Under the spotlight are CYTA, CPA (Ports Authority) and a further 5 entities including EAC (Electricity Authority) and Cyprus Airways by 2017.
Do we ExPats find this "strikingly" familiar?

Maybe if they are privatised the staff will have to learn to actually do some work. As it is they have jobs for life with fat pensions to sit and drink coffee and chat all day while customers stand in long queues waiting for someone to actually notice they are there.
