Schooling with support for Special Educational Needs
How do people,
We have been thinking of making the move to Cyprus for a while now and we are trying to work everything out before we consider committing.
Our main concern is that we have a son who would require additional support from any school he was placed into and we were wondering what the education system both private & state is like in Cyprus for children with some learning difficulties.
We would be more likely to place him into private education but again we are unsure what level of support would be available.
Has anybody else had any similar issues with schooling for their children or have an idea of costings for private schools in the Paphos area?
Thanks in advance,
Shane

What age is your son? I know that the American Academy Senior school in Larnaca has teachers who can help with additional support.

Hi Honest H, Thanks for your reply.
Henry is 2 year old, so we would be looking at a infants/junior school as we would try to make the move to coincide with him starting school.
It may be worth looking in the Larnaca area for schools, thank you.
