Hey Bev!

Me and a friend of mine are planning to move to Cyprus in April (unfortunately we will have to save some cash before we come - we'd both move tomorrow if we could) and im really interested in moving to Paphos...

Can you tell me all about it, was the move easy, jobs relivently easy to find, is it near nice beaches!

Hi make sure you have cash to last you will need 2 months rent up front
There are jobs for season (not as meny as last year) low pay , need to work a month before pay , so you see why you need to come with a good bit of cash& flight home if all goes wrong, not trying to put you off it is great here you are young give it ago,, just take care.

Cheers lovely ...

Was thinking £1000 would be enough but now you said about TWO months rent in advance, seems like I'll have to have a little bit more??

I was hoping to get a job with accomadation included at first then find my feet from there...

Are these jobs easy to get do you know??

Unfortunately NO JOBS are easy to get these days. The sort of jobs that include accomodation tend to be in the tourist industry and due to the downturn in tourist numbers these jobs are not as numerous as in the past.
My advice to young people wanting to come over here is always to make sure you have enough money put to one side to buy a plane ticket home if things don't work out as you hope.
So aside from the two months money you need to see you through until you find a job you also need the money to get back home if you can't find a job.
