Default Moving to Cyprus as a teacher advise needed please

Hi, wish to relocate to Cyprus. I am a science teacher and am at present in dubai and been here for 6 years teaching at a very good international school. I have a husband who is not a teacher but as I would be the wage earner not really an issue.

Does anyone know if teaching pays enough to live on, if accommodation is affordable. We are looking for maybe 1 bed apartment, we don't live extravagantly not expecting the 5 star of dubai, but this is easily sacrificed for the European freedom we would have.

Main questions if anyone can answer:
Average salary for high school science ( chemistry) teacher?
How much(%) tax?
Rent for one bed apartment ?
Living costs( food, utilities)
Grateful for any help. Thanks Julie
