Any deeds issued by Turkey after that time are not legally recognised anywhere else and anyone buying land or properties with TURKISH title deeds could lose everything. THIS IS FACT. Anyone who buys in the North should safeguard themselves by applying to the Land registry in Nicosia find out who owned the land or property prior to 1974. Veronica |

Re: Moving to Cyprus - perhaps?
well done Telsy. Of course Turkish Title is fine and the North Offers so much more than the South. It is understandable with so much confusion, but a little knowledge is dangerous. There have been 2 TV programmes recently and both actually " plugged" North Cyprus with Turkish Deeds. Anyway, try it out anyone and see the difference.

Re: Moving to Cyprus - perhaps?
Dear friends.
Because of the oram's case i have to say that veronica is absolutely right. I' m gonna post two links that describe the whole story. http://www.wellestates.com/orams_ecj.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostolides_v_Orams Pls read them because i think they give an extensively massive amount of information about that case. If anyone wants more information google it(Oram's case) I just want to say that GreekCypriots are awaiting the rule of the European court to be adopted by the English court and then the Oram's villa is gonna be demolished. And that would be only the beginning. I don't want to say more , i just want to update everyone in this site because this case is extremely important |
