Hi, and welcome to the forum!
The Cyprus folk will come along to advise, but firstly you should give your children's ages and say how you intend to make a living.
Age is an important factor for a successful adaptation to the Education System in any foreign country (at Primary age, children can pick up the language/culture quickly and go up to State Secondary with confidence, but, over 11, an International School is recommended due to lack of language and general culture).
Healthcare coverage depends on whether you're working (earning) or "inactive" (or retired).
On the France forum, if a potential expat hasn't got a job lined up, we generally recommend bringing over savings to last a year, and not to burn their boats in the UK in case everything goes pear-shaped....
