Long term renting with pets - is it possible
Hi,
I am hoping to retire early to Cyprus and have a couple of dogs. (I have posted another thread about getting them to Cyprus). I would like to buy somewhere, but think that a long term rental might be a better option to start with. I don't really want to be in a holiday rental, as I would prefer to get in among the locals and find a place to buy after seeing what's about. I would like a small place, studio or one-bed place that will let me have my dogs. One is 14, nearly completely deaf and blind cockerpoo, the other is a 7 yo Yorkie. Both fully house-trained and despite the breeds, not yappy nor are they destructive.
I have emailed some of the rental companies and awaiting responses. I am posting on here, in the hope that someone on here can direct me to a local company or knows someone that maybe able to help me. I can put a larger deposit down if required to put their minds at rest about the dogs. It will need to be a furnished place as I doubt I will be able to bring much over due to shipping costs.
