Hi everyone, I'm a UK citizen living in Brazil and married to a brazilian. I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help with.

I've figured out the way to create the application under "Settlement" and "Wife", but it's unclear if I (the UK citizen) has to apply for my wife and prove I can earn more than 18.600/year or if it's my wife that has to apply and attach my earnings as proof?

I'm confused because the application form asks for employment details and a sponsor?! I thought I was her sponsor but there is no "Husband" option!!

Also, I have two brazilian kids, do I need an application for each one?

If you're the natural father of your children then you can apply for British passports for them and they won't need to be included in your wife's visa application.

The UK partner must be the sponsor, so that's you. But your wife is supposed to be the one applying, so keep that in mind as you fill it out. Yes, she must send in paper proof that you (her UK sponsor) have earned the necessary income for either the last 6 or 12 months, and that you also have a job paying that much or more in the UK that will start up within 3 months of your arrival there.
