Finally sorted out the wedding certificate issue!

Now that I am based in Kuwait and will sponsor my husband - can i start the sponsorship application from Kuwait or do I have to return to the UK and then apply for him from there ?

Your husband needs to apply for himself - you just need to sort out the sponsor side including accommodation.

I'm sure others will be along with more advice also

My husband is living with me in Kuwait (we are both based here) - so that means he would need to apply from Kuwait (or Pakistan where he was born ?)


I feel this is going to be a long road - and no G&T with ice and a slice to help ease it

I'm sure others more knowledgeable will be along soon but if you are not planning on returning to the UK yet, i would not apply until nearer the time as there is a short time to enter and I don't think the application takes that long, and less if using the priority service.

From your earlier posts it looks like you are applying with savings.

If so, you can both stay in Kuwait and apply from there.
