We got the visa
After 9 months of living away from my wife and 3 year old daughter, and after receiving a lot of help from this forum, my wife finally received her Japanese passport back with a shiny visa glued to a page inside. We received the "a decision has been made" email after only 10 workings days from her application, and we never paid for priority processing, so we were 100% convinced it had been rejected.
It's been an awful 9 months away from my family, however I learned a lot about myself, and gave me a new perspective on immigration issues that affect other people around the world. I'm lucky. I'm 28, and it was always possible I could get a £18,600+ salary. There are countless situations out there of people who fallen between the cracks of an unforgiving system, with no obvious solution.
I'm going to hang around this forum to help out where I can, although I'm far from an expert in the system. I just wanted to thank everyone who contributes to this forum, and who have helped me in some of my ridiculous questions in the past. I applied via category A (6 months employment with £18,600+ salary), so if anyone has any questions about documents or the application let me know. Hang in there everyone!!!

Congratulations!
Just a couple of questions please. How many p60s did you include? And also i just started working in october 2015. And im planning to apply when i have 6 payslips and a p60. Do you think this is a good idea as someone has advised me that i should wait longer. As HO may refuse on the grounds of me only starting to work for my husbands visa. Hope ive mafe sense. Thanks

I didn't get a P60 as I arrived back in May, so in my cover letter I explained why I didn't have one.
