Default Validity Period of Spouse Visa

Hi guys. Would appreciate if you can help me here.

I moved to UK in December 2014 using spouse visa under my husband. I left UK in June 2015 after my husband decided to accept a job offer abroad. Long story short, he has now decided to return to UK again

If we are returning to UK let say mid July, that meant I have left UK slightly over a year period. Does anybody know whether my current spouse visa is still valid or do I need to reapply my spouse visa?

Thank you in advance.

It was presumably issued for 2.5 years so it would still be valid. However as you have spent more than six months outside the UK you won't be eligible for FLR at the end of the 2.5 years so you'll have to apply for another spouse visa.

Thanks BritInParis. Good news indeed. I will worry about the FLR later. I wonder whether the Immigration will ask me questions when I enter as my husband will return to UK on his own first.

No more than the usual. Providing your visa is valid you shouldn't have any problems.
