Default UK Spouse Visa - English education requirement

My husband and I work in the US where we met and got married. He's a British citizen and we'd like to move to the UK soon so we're applying for the UK spouse visa. I am an Indian citizen and came to the US to study. I completed both my Bachelor's and Master's degree in the US (I've been here since I was in high school). For the proof of English language requirement for the initial spouse visa, would I need to get my university degree assessed by the UKNARIC to get the AQUALS or would it be enough that I submitted both my degree certificates?

You’ll need to apply for NARIC certification of your degree(s).

Are you eligible for US citizenship?

Thank's for your quick reply! That's helpful!

I probably could, but unfortunately with the immigration backlogs in the US I would have to wait about 15-20 years before I would get my citizenship.

Assume you mean months rather than years? It's not quite that bad yet.
