Hello,
Is there anyone who applied settlement in UK, decision was made but VFS didn’t contacted the applicant?

My situation is:
application submitted: oct 2, 2018
biometrics: oct 2, 2018
Fiancée called the home office after 3 weeks of submission: says 30 working days, worse is 40 working days.
Fiancée called again the home office, says decision was made on Nov. 12, 2018.
But no update, news or anything from the VFS makati Philippines.
I’m asking my sister to visit the VFS, but I don’t know if she’ll be allowed to go in since we don’t have any confirmation or message that my passport is ready to be collected. Is there anyone here knows how it works? Do they send you a message? Call? Or not at all?

My Fiancée is arriving on Nov. 23, 2018 and we are planning to go back to UK together. We are happy that decision made but we don’t know if it’s granted or not, we didn’t hear anything at all from VFS since we submitted the application. Please help. Thank you

Hi Janu, I'm very excited to let you know that my wife and i are now living together in the uk...sorry that ive not replied sooner as we had to get things moving very quickly because you only get 1 month to get the BRP...Which my wife had to be here to collect. You can apply for an extention to the 1 month 'Right to Enter' visa at a price. So I hope you are ready to move quickly as we were...Good luck with your application and keep me informed.

Hi KJ. Miami, I think that you'll get an e'mail very shortly from VFS, as our Application centre did'nt reply to us until 3 days after the Home Office Granted our Visa.

Just be ready to collect your passport.

I can feel your pain as I am in the same position myself and sometimes just feel deeply saddened by all of this. I am now over 140 working days since Biometrics and have enquired 4 times and escalated. I even involved my MP and he too was provided with the same reply that they doing background checks and so on.

ive applied for my mrs visa, they received the online application on 19th of november just wondering no one mensiond anyone ringing to confirm your job or what hours you do or anything so does anyone no whn or after how long they take to ring

Hi they dnt always ring if there is 2jobs ur appliyin with than they do they ask u questions like wot hrs u do at the partime job wots the colour of the place u work at name the people u work with wots ur managers full name how did u apply for the job wen did u strt ur partime job, i applied with 2jobs n i nva got any cal from home office n its comin up to 9 months still waitin for a decision

brother i got two jobs anol my income comes upto 24k ayear but since u said they hvnt rang u an its been 9mths bloody hell long time my cuzain did his it took his mrs visa month an half an it got granted

Bro iv been waiting for over 185days every time i call them its awaiting decision since june i have escalated the case 3 times also got my mp involved but still no luck and nither have they rang me the sponser or my fiance i always have my phone by me in case they call cause they did ring a mate of mine who applied for his wifes visa from india and he didnt answer they refused his visa only cause he never answerd

I don't think you got the whole story from your mate. He would not have been refused a visa just because he didn't answer a phone call.
