In Uk with African wife and Child. Nationality.
My daughter was born in Zambia in 2007 and I married her mother several months later. According to info Ive been given that makes my daughter a British citizen. We are all now in UK - they have ILR and Zambian passports.
The Embassy in Pretoria wrongly advised that my daughter was not entitled to citizenship which is why she has had to come in on a Zambian passport.
My query is; can I now simply apply for a passport for her or do I have to register her as a citizen first at a cost of £699?
