Time out of UK whilst on Spouse Visa
Hi Everyone,
My wife is a US resident on a UK Spouse Visa in the UK. She received her Visa last December.
Can someone please clarify to me what is the maximum duration she can spend outside of the UK without it affecting her visa?
She went for her brothers wedding in Pakistan in Feb for 2 months and her sister is getting married in November and hopes to go for 2 months. Would this cause any issues with her visa?

Your wife is a US citizen resident in the UK on a spouse visa?
She can spend up to six months in any given twelve month period outside the UK without it affecting her ability to gain ILR or British citizenship with the exception of her final year during which time she cannot spend more than 90 days outside the UK.

Yes she is. So say for instance she goes for 10 weeks then that wouldnt affect her spouse visa?
