Default Staying with same employer when moving back

Hi looking for some advice before we get started applying for the Spouse Visa. I'm a UK citizen and have been living and working in a non EU country. I want to return to the UK with my non EU husband. The company I work for has an office in the UK and I will remain working for the same employer but just from their UK office. My income exceeds £18,600 and I've been working for my current employer for 2 years on a permanent contract which will remain the same when we move. We also have cash savings exceeding £64,000.

How will the process work when staying with the same employer? Do they just have to confirm they will continue to employ me from the UK side of the business? Or does the cash savings negate the need to prove the income? Thanks so much in advance

The easiest way by far would be for your husband to use cash savings to meet the financial requirement. No other income/employment evidence/history needed.

Providing your cash savings have been hold above the threshold for at least six months then go with Category D. Far simpler than anything.
