Spouse visa - English test recommendations?
Hi all!
My fiancee and I are getting married soon, so it'll be time to get to work on that spouse visa application (I've just got a raise above the wage threshold - phew!).
Our biggest concern is the proof of English language proficiency. Just wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations or advice on which English language test is a good one to take - i.e. something not too demanding, reasonably priced, etc. There's a lot of choice, and it's difficult to know which one to go for!
Her conversational English is actually not bad, but she's worried about the reading & writing side of a things. For this reason, we're thinking the Trinity GESE Grade 2 looks good, as it's speaking/listening only and it seems quite nicely focused on everyday conversation - no unusual vocab or especially tricky questions, by the looks of it. Does anyone have a partner who has taken this test, by any chance?
Any tips for tests to look into or ones to avoid would be very welcome! Or just any info about any of the tests whatsoever - it's all good to hear. Thanks!
