southern Rhodesia
Good day
I trust you are having an excellent day so far.
I have a passport from my grandfather who I never met.
It states on the passport that he is: " British Subject and a Southern Rhodesian Citizen.{ stamped 16/10/1952)
He was born in East London South Africa : 28/12/1891
has anyone anything that could assist in information that could assist in obtaining : - UK/British - Passport/ ancestry/ citizen claim.
I am currently 57 and would like to pass this honor onto my 2 boys if at all possible.
Thank you in advance for your comments.
Regards Alan.
Attached a doc i found not sure is this all there is to work with.
i just found it today , have not studied it as yet.

Re: southern Rhodesia
British subject as used in that context meant what we would now call a Commonwealth citizen. Who was your last UK-born ancestor?
