Shared financial responsibilities
I'm in the process of completed the online visa form. One section asks for "Shared financial responsibilities: For example, utility bills, mortgage or rent, childcare costs, loan payments"
My wife and obviously do (rent /groceries/internet), but we only recently combined accounts. Previously she paid for the rent out of her account (I moved into her apartment). I paid for other things like groceries. To complicate things, we are now subletting, and I just make online payments to the person whose apartment we are living in from my account.
To me it seems like we have no shared financial responsibilities, but I'm worried that it looks bad to not include anything.
Suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to explain all this and provide the relevant evidence.

Thanks BiP - should this be in the online form (only space for 500 characters) or in the physical application?
Also, is this for use in determining if we're a couple? We're married and have a decent amount of evidence (marriage certificate/shared travel histories/photos) for that.

If you can fit it into the online form then great but don’t be afraid to use a covering letter if you think it necessary.
Yes, it’s to show your marriage is genuine. Photos will only get you so far. You’ll need to make sure you demonstrate you are maintaining a joint household as well.

Ok thanks. I'll include a brief description and then explain it in the covering letter.
