salaried or non salaried?

i am paid by the hour at my workplace on a fulfillment contract. however, the hours vary I get paid 9.95 an hour. is this salaried or non-salaried employment? Also what letter should the HR team write?

It doesn't really matter as longs as you have the pay slips and can show the money going into your account.
