Dear all,

My visa application was refused last month due a stupid mistake by myself.

I am ready for a fresh application and I have some questions.

I have all the documents from my previous application.

1. accommodation inspection letter (Do I need a fresh one? it is issued in July/2017)
2. TB test ( it is expiring on 30/12/2017, I am planning to apply next week or end of this week if I don't need any fresh document).
3.sponsor's employment letter (issued in July/2017) do I need an updated on?

About bank statements and payslip ( I got updated from the last 6 months)

Just to check first, are these the only documents you submitted for your last application or just a subset on which you need confirmation?

What’s the reason you were refused in the first place and has that been addressed?

I suggest getting updated letters, including the TB certificate. It may be valid now but would probably expire while the application is still being processed or before you enter the U.K.

So the TB test must be valid when you enter UK???
Yes I have addressed the issue...
I have also asked for an updated sponsor letter.
Rest of the documents are in place.

I am just worried about TB test and accommodation inspection letter.
Advise please.

The guidance doesn't state that the TB cert must be valid when you enter the UK but I've seen posts where people mentioned that they were asked to provide their TB cert on entry. They could probably even ask you after applying to take another test because the current one has expired while your application is being processed which would delay a decision. I'd say better safe than sorry.

Regarding the accommodation inspection letter, it's one of many documents that can be provided as evidence of accommodation and there's no requirement that it has to be within a certain period. So long as you can provide a supporting letter and/or utility bill dated within 28 days of your application then no need to obtain a new inspection letter.
