Proving single status for marriage visa
Hi - for a foreigner to marry in the UK, to a UK citizen, do they need to submit a single status certificate (or equivalent) from their home country as part of the visa application?

I'm moving this to the UK forums. The one you posted in at first was for US immigration only.

In another jurisdiction I had to provide "A Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage" Is that required ?

If you've never married then you don't need a Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage or equivalent. If you have been divorced or widowed then you would need to bring your decree absolute or the death certificate of your previous spouse with you when you give notice.

Hi one more question - for property documents where we plan to live after marriage, do we need to show new market prices/official price evaluation on the property where we are planning to live? We've only got the old value of the house at the moment

No, not sure why you think that? If you own the property then just proof of ownership will suffice.
